I know for me that during my pregnancy with my son, my BP would get super high at the doctors office, so he had me buy a cuff and monitor at home and it was always normal. He said I had a little bit of white coat syndrome. I actually find it comforting to check my BP at home because it reassures me.
As far as pregnancy goes, there is no way to predict how your body will handle it (as I've recently discovered) however, go get physically checked out first. Prior to my husband and I starting out second round of IVF, I was not only checked out by my fertility doctor, but I had a full physical, met with my cardiologist, got my dental X-rays and teeth cleaning done, etc. All of my doctors said that my body was in good enough shape to maintain a pregnancy. Too bad they didn't know what a mess my mind was gonna be. Anyway though, if you get all checked out maybe that will ease your mind. I know it helped me to take the next step forward.
