The book focused on Schema Therapy, Schema's are usually picked up during child hood and develop as you grow up and become very hard to break once they have had a chance to develop. The book has some questionnaires in it which you fill out and they identify the schema which applies to you I think there is 11 schemas in total it then teaches you ways that you can go about
changing the schema by various means.
