Hey Family,

Thought it was about time for another purely for fun thread...

...but wait, is it?!?

Setting goals, dreaming...projecting positively about the future is therapeutic, motivating and takes us out of 'our heads'...and into a happy place! tongue

Whether it be an attainable goal that you are already working towards and closing in on...

...or a huge dream...(resources/restraints/practicality aside!!!)

What is on your wishlist?

S.C.

First, my goal is getting rid of my health anxiety for good and never look back.

My dream is, drawing a comic book with the fantastic story in my mind. Which has been haunting me for more than a decade now...
I don't care about what I do with it afterwards (trash it, give it to a random person, publish it, etc). I just want to draw it.

Travel more!! There are so many places I want to see but my bank book won't allow me too lol. Retirement in 10 years is another goal. Oh and Take more naps - lol it seems like it would be an easily obtained goal but life keeps me too busy.

Love this SC!

I would love to take yoga teacher training. I was pretty deep into yoga before my last bout started, so I hope to get back up there and even beyond. I've given myself all next year to build up and hopefully the year after start the teacher training.

I would love to (semi retire) retire to an area that has a powder white beach and turquoise sea
Once I've had my fill of doing nothing but sitting with my toes in the sand and gazing at the sea...I'd like to do some volunteering. Thinking I've been called to help emotionally abused children.

If this move was to happen sooner instead of later and I have to work- I'd love to own a deli/sandwich shop in the above location.

1) Have custody of my grandson full time, let mom have every other weekend. lol
2) Go on a cruise, any where as long as it's a big ship lol.
3) Finish my degree in Human Services.
4) Have no more anxiety or panic attacks.
5) Complete Therapy for the first time in over 30 years of going.
6) Have my disability appeal get approved!!!!!!!!!!

I could probably think of more, but that's enough for now. :)

I love reading everyone's goals and dreams, keep posting them!!

Hi SC

Great thread thanks for starting it.

My dream would be that I wake up with no back pain as it is really getting unbearable.

My goal at the moment is to continue using my coping skills and mindfulness to keep my anxiety in check and to keep putting myself in social situations so I can work towards overcoming my Social Anxiety.

To be free of all anxiety and actually believing my heart is good and I lose some more weight!

I own a Harley and want to travel cross county with my wife one day.

I also want to purchase a boat for the lake to relax on weekends :)

Practicality aside, WELL... :D

I want an apartment in NYC. Maybe near Central Park. A beach house on Long Island. A lake house in Southeastern Oklahoma. A mountain cabin in Colorado, and one in New Mexico - Red River most likely.

I'd need a private jet to get back and forth to & from the east coast. I'd need a nice pontoon boat at the lake house. It's only logical to have a nice new truck to tow said boat. Oh, and a motor home to travel out west.

Yeah, that's all I need. I'm a pretty grounded person. ;)

These ALL sound great guys!!!

Sorry I have not responded until now...kind of a crazy lost weekend for me! (see my MIA thread)

...but want everyone to know that I am hoping, wishing and praying that you meet and even exceed what you thought was possible with your goals...

...and that some of these dreams get realized as well! :) :) :)

Hugs and high fives all!
