Unscheduled time can get to me as well...too many open-ended hours...with time for the mind to wander to worry land!
Try scheduling your Saturdays and Sundays to stay structured for now...so you stay busy/focused on some thing other than the anxiety...and the intrusive thoughts stay as quiet as possible.
It won't always be like this...with time and progress, you'll be able to have chill weekends again. ;)
