I just need some reassurance!

I have bronchitis and an upper respiratory infection. That caused me to need a nebulizer treatmentioned at urgent care lastnight. Which of course got me all jittery and stuff.

I was laying down at about 130am trying to sleep depicted the fact that my heart was beating hard, not too fast. 74bpm.
I was just laying there paying attention to it, when all of a sudden I felt like it stopped. It wasn't beating hard at all and I just down right felt like it stopped.
I didnt do the sensible thing and check my pulse. I shot up and then felt it pounding again and was relieved.

I had just gotten over this.
common sense is: if it stopped it would of stopped. I wouldn't of been aware enough to worry. Right? This has me so incredibly on edge!

maybe it was just a PVC?
or I noticed my hearts dramatic slow down because I was SO in tune to it..

I'm really looking for some reassurance..

Mel,

I have had this sensation before...I know exactly what you are talking about I believe.

I don't know the cause, or what exactly is going on when this happens...

...but I am inclined to think it is normal, and only those of us with anxiety note it and go on 'red alert'!

If you've not been through it lately...go through the "Super Scanner" in the Resources...it never fails to put my mind at ease.:)
