My anxiety tends to be worst in the AM too. My understanding is Coristol levels tend, naturally, to be highest in the AM. So that may be the problem.
When I feel anxious in the AM, I try to tell myself "its just elevated cortisol; get your arse out of bed and start the day." Its not easy, sometimes. But as the day goes on, the anxiety tends (usually) to subside a bit.
