As far as the alone time challenge...how about
joining a group for widows, or checking out a Grief Share meeting? I know you have good friends, and have been making great steps by visiting them...
...but there is just something about
sharing with others who know exactly what you are going through that really helps.
Can you look around your area or on-line perhaps, for something like this. I know some churches host Grief Share groups.
