Hope you are feeling my much better now Cilly.
I just wanted to share a new technique with you I learned these past few days that you possibly already know or use. This technique is extremely simple and doesn't require any mental concentration really. It can bring some relief within 10 seconds but may need to be used a few times to really take effect.
What you do is, take a large deep inhale and hold it for 5-10 seconds, whatever you are comfortable with.
While your holding this breath, clench your fists and try to tighten every muscle in your body from your hands to your toes. I mean really tighten up. The moment you release your muscles and slowly exhale, you will feel a sudden rush of a calming/relaxing feeling spread throughout all the muscles you just tensed up. During this release, picture all the anxiety/stress leaving your body with this relaxing feeling. Rinse and repeat as needed.
I find it very refreshing, to me it feels like the sudden feeling of an incoming attack but in reverse.
Hope this helps and stay positive!
PS. You can even use this technique when you are already feeling pretty good, to get a good idea of what this tension release feels like!
