So very may losses...it is sad and yes...as Time said...it does make us aware of our own mortality.
However...try to keep this in perspective, and recognize this for what it is...anxiety.
Notice we seem to only relate the negative/scary stuff? We never hear about
someone winning the lottery and assume we are the next big winner, right? ;p
Use your positive and reassuring mantras to keep your thoughts/worries from running away on you. (see our Resources for info on this as well as thought redirection exercises in the Therapy Worksheets link)
