I am so very sorry to hear about
your wife! First and foremost, know that we are lifting her up with prayers and positive healing thoughts!
Of course this is going to affect you! This is a situational type of anxiety that is expected, and a normal response to you wife being unwell. I think we, as anxious people , forget that anxiety is a part of life that is unavoidable and necessary! We need not fear a complete set back whenever we get anxious...especially in a situation such as you're experiencing.
That being said, it was smart to set up a backup plan for yourself by talking to your doctor...well done.
Be sure to make time for coping skills and using your therapy tools as well, so you have a well rounded management plan going.
Keep posting with us for support...that is why we are here! You were in a good place before this incident...so know you will get back there again once the crisis is over.
Let us know how you are both doing soon, okay?
