Im am terrified out of my mind. I'm convinced that its my heart. I get tightness in my chest like someone is sitting on me with slight pain for no apparent reason. Wasn't even anxious. Yes I have had test. Last test I did was in March. Stress test and Echocardiogram than in june an ECG because of pain and tightness and all normal!!! What else could be causing this????? I took a tecta today to see if it will help and so far nothing.

what are the chances its my Heart. or having a heart attack????

Hey bam,

I have chest tightness everyday almost now. It's usually worst in the mornings. Like you I've had a stress test and ekg, all normal. I feel like because of stress and anxiety, our muscles are super tense and cause a lot of issues. I also have asthma and right now the allergies are hard on me. Maybe look into that. I take a pill for it and it tends to help some. GERD can also be an issue. I've had a lot of issues with it currently as, again, my anxiety is terrible. I'm no professional doctor so I can't say for sure. But I think you have your heart concern covered!!! Maybe make an appointment to discuss those things. Could also be side effects of any meds you take. Let me know what's going on when you can.

Take care and I hope you feel better.

I am sorry you are feeling unwell with those scary symptoms. It is very challenging when the anxiety speaks louder than what we know to be true. (from the doctor's reports/tests)

Reading and going through the exercises in following link should help!

You are going to be alright. Work the skills and use your positive mantras.

Thank you Tune for your response. I have a puffer for mild asthma due to seasonal allergies but when I use it, it gives me no relief. I will do the tecta for acid reflex and see if it helps in a week. Scares the crap out of me as I keep thinking something was missed when they checked my heart.
