Morning folks

How has your week been? Check in if you have the time.

I'm soldering on.

Hibee
I try not to worry about the future -- so I take each day just one anxiety attack at a time.

Hi Hibee, I am still struggling with depression AND anxiety. Not sure how many on the Anxiety and Panic forum have experienced deep depression but it causes me to feel "afraid" (anxious) of the depression itself. It feels so unbearable at times, like I cannot tolerate how I feel. It doesn't help that I have not found the med or cocktail to help my brain.

Today I was triggered by "Narcissistic Mother" and myself being "codependent" stuff. I have trauma that gets triggered by FOO (Family of Origin) but esp. my Mom. This is making me feel "anxious" because she is never wrong, which makes me wrong by default and I will pay a price. Since I am not out of depression, this is a terrible time to have a falling out. Of course, keeping the child "off balance" and "dependent" is part of the darn game they play. sad

Another wild week here! Now I'm pretty much all settled in my new place. I just have the two boxes that I'm super lazy on. smile

Work is continuing as is. Haven't had anyone come in for an interview for my position yet. I can't wait until it happens though - that will mean I'm closer to transitioning to the job I want to do and transitioning out of the job I've done for 5 years and don't care to do anymore.

This Saturday I bought myself a new car. My Solstice gave up on me a couple weeks ago, the day I was moving up north. Ugh. It was too dangerous to drive anymore so my parents got together and helped me get together the down payment (they gave me 8k for my old car - it was a prototype so my Dad said I couldn't get rid of it). smile It's nice to have a new car again and nice to have a Chevy again. smile

Took my little girl (a 4 year old Weimaraner) to the vet to get some shots. Now she's got two more appointments for more shots. I decided to give her a rattlesnake vaccine since it was pretty affordable and I live next to even more canyons than I did before.

Settling in quite well. Getting used to "everything new." I'm moving in a great life direction.

Hey guys, Been a little while since I checked in. Overall, I'm doing fairly well. I've been tapering my meds.
Over the last 3 months I've dropped my Buspar down from 45mg a day to 30. Taking it slow. A little more than 10% a month, but I don't feel like I'm crazy sensitive like some people. So I'm leaving the Buspar at 30 and my next taper is my mirtazapine. I was at 7.5mg, but starting last Saturday I've dropped down to about 5.5mg.
I actually have noticed an uptick in my anxiety, but nothing I'm too worried about.

HT, Hibee - glad to see you're doing reasonably well. Hope everyone else is on a good path.

Prayers for everyone affected by Harvey.
