Hi! I'm wanting to here others reviews on fluoxetine. I'm currently on .5mg of liquid form and it makes me sooo sleepy. I feel loopy most days on it but I suppose it's the lesser of two evils. It's crazy how so little medicine can impact me.

Hi Hopeful,

I don't have experience to share...

...but I feel I am also sensitive to certain medications...so I understand your frustration.

I do however think your system will adjust with time...so use your coping skills, and hang in there!

I have read many similar posts to yours that did have a positive resolution.smile

I'm currently taking Fluoxetine at 60mg and have found it to be a good medication for me but we are all different and what works well for one person may not work as well for another.

It is one of the stronger ssri's and is very activating so best taken first thing in the morning.

I would give it a few more days and if things don't improve go back and speak with your doctor to see what your options are.

Keep us posted.
