My Father is going in for a ct scan because he can feel a lump in his throat. My anxiety is through the roof. I have a huge move in jobs and states all while trying to tame this anxiety. I feel so bad for my father and feel like if i lose him ill lose my world

It seems like almost everyone has a loved one who is suffering, what works for me is to Pray for all the people in the world who are at this same point, my hope for you is that you receive Peace, the Peace that is beyond all human understanding. Peace

AK,

I am sorry that this is happening and that your dad is sick. Of course this causes you anxiety...it would be weird if it didn't!

Try not to pre-worry about what his test will conclude. It could be that nothing is found and that he will hold steady, or even move in a healing direction. Really there is 2/3 more chance of a neutral or good outcome than anything else.

Use all of your coping skills to help you get through this stressful time.

I am sending prayers for your father, and for you.
