...although I am sorry to hear it's due to returning anxiety. I know how disappointing and confusing this can be.
It sounds like you have had some really rough ups and downs...emotionally and no doubt hormonally which could have triggered a set back...
...or sometimes there simply isn't a clear cause, for why we veer of course temporarily.
The good news is that you found a good place of recovery previously, and you can do so again.
It's great that you have an upcoming appointment with your doctor, so that you can discuss your treatment options. Medication and/or therapy could be considerations...
...and definitely keep up with the self help skills...even if you are not convinced that it is helping...cosistency and long term practice pay off. See our Resources at the top of the main forum page here for more great material to work with.
