Oh I'm going through everything life can throw at me.
The people I last rented a place from are trying to steal money from me. They are trying to charge me an exorbitant amount of money for fixes that should be considered normal wear and tear.
I've fought back vehemently. I filed a compliant with the BBB and Health and Human Services. I got covered with legal insurance and prepared to get a lawyer. I've sent some really strong emails to the owner of the property management company, explaining why the hell I wasn't going to pay xxx for xxx. I will be happy to cut all ties with this piss poor company. I may have to deal with them for a couple more months as I took an early termination and have to pay 3 months of rent (or unless someone rents the place).
I am hoping health and human services will be so riled up about
my complaint that they may go after the company and refund ALL of the rent I paid. We will see what they think of the situation. BBB has already emailed me and
opened up a file on them. Still waiting to hear from HHS.
At work, I'm interviewing a candidate to take over my position. I haven't had to do experiments in almost a month as my director told my coworker I was doing other things and to pull me off of experiments. I may never have to see another rat or mouse again.
In addition, I also have the Medical Board of California looking into my old psychiatrist that I have called out as a scam artist. I was not going to report him (when I should have when he tried to scam me), but then when a family friend who was seeing that same doctor was also receiving negligent treatment and made a suicide attempt landing him in the hospital, I decided to go after the doctor.
I can do without all the legal mumbojumbo, but at the same time, I'm not going to let myself get walked all over - by anyone.
