Hi everyone!

Has anyone ever taken liquid Prozac? My doctor prescribed .25ml for anxiety. It’s such a tiny dose, but I’m curious. Any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Hi Park

I have never tried liquid Prozac so I hope it works for you are you planning on increasing the dose?

Hibee,
Apparently for treatment of anxiety.25 or .5 may actually help? I’m a little confused really.

this must be a new therapy as I am reading about liquid Prozac more often now. mabey they finally realized its just to strong a drug in its normal aval doses and the liquid is a way of giving the patient a smaller dose.

It does sound new. No one I ask seems to have any knowledge of it!

Hey Park,

I know nothing about liquid Prozac, but it sounds interesting! I like the idea of starting out at a teeny amount, that way you may not have any start up effects.

I started lex by nibbling off pieces of a 5 mg pill, haha. I didn’t have one negative start up symptom! And I felt better at a small amount, so I never went up to a “therapeutic dose”.

I’m excited for you! Good luck!

mom-that's smart thinking. listen to your body and not what dose dr prescribes. Lexapro start up nearly killed me it was so bad. stay on lowest dose that gives relief. smart girl.

Feeling good!! I’ve been on it for one year, almost exactly. I just couldn’t shake that last bit of mild (but annoying) anxiety, so decided to just do it...but do I‎t my own way.
