Hey guys,
I have anxiety/panic attacks and on Zoloft 100mg for 7 months.
I take small amount of Xanax on weekend.
Today being the 4th day after I've taken Xanax I felt very shaky, jittery lightheaded and jelly legs and feel so anxious and phlem in my throat and extream tired.
Is it withdrawals or a long panic attack..
Plz help!

Hi

I don't think it is withdrawals but just your anxiety that is causing your symptoms.

Use any self help skills you have such as Mindfulness to help reduce your anxiety levels and hopefully you will see an improvement in your symptoms.

I try not to worry about the future -- so I take each day just one anxiety attack at a time.

Heya,

I agree. The small dose of benzo that you take on a PNR basis would not be enough to cause withdrawl symptoms on days that you do not take it.

Rather, you are likely having breakthrough anxiety...and yes, coping skills...and possibly taking your rescue med will help. smile
