Stress/health anxiety

As ive posted before i am in a massive multiple sclerosis hole that i am really struggling with as i have all the symptoms or have had over the past 6 months,i am really stressed and anxious i have been for most part of the year,my mind is fixated on my symptoms and in struggling to leave the house because of it,i have cbt in a few weeks i guess my question is has anyone else been in the ms hole? I dont really no to much about anxiety as i have only had it this year,do i need to break the cycle of thoughts before it gets better?i suppose ive just been hoping i wake up one day abd frel fine but this hasnt happened,has anyone had health anxiety for long periods who could give me any advice thankyou

I am sorry you're struggling...I know how exhausting this can be!

Did you go through all the HA material in the Resources already? How about ordering the suggested books...or going to the library and checking out all you can from there. You can make copies of relevant parts for yourself, and get a jump start on your therapy through a custom self help program.

Hang in there...with time and getting started in your CBT, things will get better.😊
