I undertstand. I can be uncomfortable to talk with someone that you don't know...but it can also be a very free and healing experience once you get through the initial fear. Afterall, you can
open up to someone that is there as a professional, and someone whose job it is to only help and never judge.
A lot of people have initial anxiety about
talking with a therapist/counselor, but find that they are soon looking forward to their appointments!
Still, if that experience just sounds like too much, then maybe joining a group for anxiety discussion could help. You need not talk unless you want to...and just listening to other's stories and ideas for what they do for help would be beneficial.
Stay hopeful, you are finding ways to help yourself and make progress each time you reach out.
