Hi,

I have been very anxious lately and so afraid to drop dead. There have been so many changes lately and I am sad and worried.

I feel jumpy and anxious and my back is aching a lot in the middle. I keep thinking "heart attack". I have had EKGs and a CT scat and the doctor says I am fine.

I listen to relaxing music, eat well (have lost 10 lbs) and exercise some (should do more). I had a visit in January and took Klonopin for a week, during that week nothing hurt.

Besides the back pain, I feel like I am unable to breath well. Please let me know if you get back pain, is it all the time?

Thanks for the support

AK,

I get transient back pain that will come and go. I may have it at different times of the day, for a week or so, then it will be better for some time.

I try to remember that aches and pains are not unusual...and the old medical school adage of:

"When hearing hoofbeats, assume horses, not zebras."

In other words, we need to be careful not to attach worries of things that are unlikely, to our everday common anxiety symptoms.

Keep working on your recovery efforts, and look into learning some stretches/exercises for relief of your back pain.

You are going to be alright...peace and progress!

It's not just you!!

The forum has slowed down dramatically. Admin is working on some updates that should bring us up to current standards. (mobile app being one of them)

Until then, we have our smaller tight knit group...but with fewer responses...it's a trade off...

Hope today is a good one for you.smile

The day has been so so... I woke up anxious and was having a hard time getting ready. I am taking a Real Estate Class form 9-1. During the class I could feel that I was getting very nervous and very cold. My hand were shaky and I felt like someone scared me.

I finally took 0.25 Klonopin and felt better, still back pain but manageable. Even like that as soon as I got home I cried for like half and hour and felt better... but the back pain.... so tiring

AK,

Tension, anxiety and pain are all exhausting!

Good call on using your recue med for relief...

...and rest, use self care...and perhaps some light exercise and stretching later if you are up to it.

Peace and progress!
