So you are on a total of 8 weeks if I'm reading correctly? That is still shy of the edge of the window of when some people have yet to get the full benefit of their med... (for some it is up to 12 weeks)
...and as your doctor said, you may not even be at a therapeutic level at this point.
So, I think it is worth trusting your doctor, as you've come this far...to push through and at least try the increase.
If you find the effects too stimulating, you can always decrease again...but you'll not know what was just around the next bend in the journey unless you try.
I have heard more stories of regret about
stopping short and not seeing a med through...than of trying a reversible increase.
This is just my two cents worth. Only you know your current situation and how your body is feeling...so know that we support you in whatever decision you make!
