Since this coincides with the onset of your anxiety, it is likely a physical symptom that has manifested itself along with stress/tension.
However, since severely tight muscle can cause alignment and dizziness in extreme cases, it wouldn't hurt to get a referral to a chiropractor or sports therapist to have this assessed.
In the meantime, do some light stretching and practice Progressive Muscle Relaxation daily for relief...as well as anxiety management coping skills
