Hi Bik and welcome back!
Wow, reading through your post...I can see that you have been through so much in a short amount of time! Both the difficult and the joyful things...it all adds up to what can be the same result...returning anxiety.
Even good/positive events can register in our minds as the extra stimulus that results in challenges in our stress management...so don't feel guilty about
feeling this way regarding your mom...and being a new mom. These are normal reactions. (not to mention the fact that you are dealing with a lot hormonally r.n.!)
As Hibee said, working your coping skills daily will help. In addition, looking to find someone to help you with your mom might be necessary. Is there another family member who could step in since you have your hands full with the new baby?
I am so happy to hear about
your new marriage and baby! I hope that you can find ways to keep your anxiety managed well so that you can enjoy this amazing time in your life! Keep posting with us if you still find it helpful so that we can support you now.
Talk soon friend!
