I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling lately, and about
the fact that you feel you are dealing with a dependency to alcohol. It is all too easy to self medicate when dealing with mental health challenges.
The good news is that you are aware of this issue...and from the sound of it, caught on to the trouble early on. This will help you in your resolve to cut back or stop in order to properly address your anxiety and improve your overall health.
Whatever method/tools you employ for alcohol cessation...remember also to really concentrate on your anxiety coping skills as well. Approaching this as a combined plan should really help you.
