I am sorry to hear that you have been dealing with such a challenging symptom for such an extended period of time.
Did medication bring you *any* amount of relief? Did you try an A/D or an anti anxiety such as a benzodiazepine?
What other treatment options have you explored? Therapy and /or self help? If so, do you find a lessening of your symptoms when you are practicing your coping mechanisms or while you are distracted...or is this a constant sensation?
