Hi Blackbird. Thanks for the post and advice. I actually already did tell my current doctor that right after she prescribed the konopin and I first tried it last November. She then told me to go to a psychiatrist, but the psychiatrist was the same way, which really shocked me...she will only give klonopin and not Xanax! It makes no sense to me at all. I thought about
trying to find another psychiatrist, but most the psychiatrists around here require you to do counseling before you can see them and counseling never helped me (I've been to over 10 different therapists and none ever helped). Good advice though, thank you.
Now my UC just starting flaring again and I'm back on a high dose of prednisone, which usually makes me extremely anxious and gives me insomnia so now I'm even more worried about
not having much Xanax. I've basically been hoarding the 15ish pills i have left all summer and fall, lol. Obviously, I can survive without it, I just would be a lot more productive and comfortable sometimes if I could just take one.
Thank you, Karen.
