I have been taking 100 mg of Zoloft, 75 mg at lunch time and the remaining 25 mg at night. After consulting with my doctor -- who told me it was my choice and should not make any material difference -- I switched to 100 mg once a day, rather than the 75/25 dose. Same 100 mg per day, though. It has been about a week since I started that.
I have noticed that, since I made that change, my anxiety has been worse. Some days really bad. I am wondering whether it could be because of this change. Or maybe it is just a coincidence, since I certainly had bad anxiety days when I was on the 75/25 mg regimen too.
I guess I could go back to the 75/25, but I don't want to do that yet -- too much moving and moving back is not great. Of course, I could ask my pdoc, but he is away on vacation. And in any event, he will just tell me that either way is fine and I can do whatever I want.
If you have any thoughts, I would be interested. (Ultimately, I probably need more than 100 mg of Zoloft -- but I really want to get off of medication, and increasing my dose would be headed in the wrong direction for that...)
