Yes for sure, our minds can sometimes manufacture symptoms for something, that is not there.
I remember when my Daughter was 5 and in senior kindergarten. Some kid brought head lice to school and spread it around. I cut my D's long hair(one reason kids get lice faster), washed everything in the house and the dog of course and put unwashable items in garbage bags. Plus of course, checked for lice in everyone's hair with the comb. I put the goop in our D's hair, to kill any lice. It played in my mind and days later, I got the feeling of lice in my hair. Then one night, around midnight, I cut my hair real short. LOL!
You probably do not have the flu, particularly the Coronavirus. If it makes you feel better, as mentioned, see your Dr. or go to a walk-in-clinic. Other things you can do if you want to:
*Get a flu shot
*Wash your hands frequently
*Try not to touch your nose, mouth
or eyes before washing your hands,
if you have been out
*Check your temperature morning and evening
to catch a fever and to make yourself feel better
*Stock up on whatever you need especially:
medical items like cough syrup, Tylenol, etc.
possibly on Amazon, if you don't want to go out
*Orange juice wouldn't hurt
*Get lots of rest
*Stay out of crowded areas, unless
you go to work or need to purchase items.
Choose times when less people go.
*Ask your s/o to stay a good distance from
anyone who shows symptoms or areas they
know they have touched
*Dress appropriately for outside, if you must go out
*Cough and sneeze into your elbow and mention it
to others who have forgotten
*If you go out, wear gloves when
pushing a cart, etc., touching buttons on elevators, etc.
* Wearing a N95 mask is helpful but a Dr. on the news
said that it is not necessary unless the person already
has the flu.
I think that is ridiculous! People with autoimmune diseases and
the elderly, are trying their best not to get sick. So anything
that they can do to protect themselves should be encouraged.
The hospitals are overfull, as is.
This is a lot of mentions but just use what you want to. If anyone disagrees, speak up, it can be deleted. I probably forgot something important. :D
