Welcome to my life!
I can’t even come close to telling you crippling, terrifying, overwhelming bouts of anxiety, depression, and manic episodes I’ve had in the last 14 years. I am too struggling day to day, minute to minute with the fear of dying. I agree with Karen, I’m not afraid of actual death. It’s the PROCESS of dying. Heart attacks and strokes are my main fears. The fact that you KNOW you’re dying or think you’re dying is the issue with me. Like what happens when you’re seconds from death? Does it hurt? Are you aware that you’re dying ? What’s after death? These are all obsessive and intrusive thoughts. Some may call them irrational, I call them human curiosity. Some may think these thoughts once or twice in their lifetime and never really bother with them again. And then there’s us, we all have our own “type and triggers” of anxiety.
