It's good that you wrote in.
You said, "Had it for few weeks now but since ive been on holiday which is now 10days I have experienced it more and its got stronger and longer. "
You know not getting out can get to anybody. And perhaps if we have anxiety, I have bipolar so I know what that is, it might add another layer to the problem of isolation, not working, etc. So that the problem might come out in a physical form, as our mind tries to help us, and maybe signal to us that we are having some problems.
Maybe it's telling us, hey, this is getting too much for just the mind to handle. As in, maybe we need some more help here. You know, just sitting in the corner is not getting it. Whatever we've been doing needs to change. Our body and mind are both crying out for help. That's where we come in.
So I guess if we could get out, maybe work will start back to get some mental relief so that this stress/anxiety is not so bad that it comes out in a physical form.
If you can get out that might help, get in contact with others, including people on this board.
If you have a psychiatrist that might be good. You've contacted the anxiety forum, have you had problems with anxiety?
The ice on the arm that helped sounds great.
My chiropractor said ice on my injured lower back will help, and it did. I would keep going with the ice, which he said reduced inflammation.
He also said a heating pad helps by rushing oxygen and nutrients to the injured area. Do you have a heating pad? Moist heat helps me even better (by moistening the insert or a small kitchen towel and wringing it out. He wanted me to separate the ice treatment and the heat by 15-30 minutes, probably.
Multi treatment such as ice/heating pad, getting out, psychiatrist, good attitude that we can get through this, might improve our chances.
