We are now upon the holiday of Christmas. Peace on Earth. Love thy neighbor. Prayer.
Please know I am trying not to cross any boundries political or religious. Please forgive me if I do.

We live in an uncertain world. As we age we become aware of our own weaknesses and the frailty of our very lives. Anxiety is our response to this chaos. As Charles Dickens wrote "We are all fellow travelers to the grave". To be sure there are good people, kind people, loving people in our journey of life. Even though I do not know many of you kind people personally I have learned much about you by reading your messages. I am thankful for you all. I count my blessing and give thanks each day. This is my way of coping with the things in life I have no control over. It seems to sooth the beast of anxiety within me.

My prayers are with you all.
Thank you all so much.

Thanks for your thoughtful words, oceanfisher.

The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings.

Counting our blessings is the only way to get through it. Be grateful for what we have. Knowing others don't have makes me sad. Pay it forward as they say.

Hugs, Karen...
