I've always been a big-time social anxiety sufferer. The worst part is that no one knows because I come off as congenial and upbeat but most of the time, I'm quite terrified of social situations. Often times, I have that anticipatory anxiety over a future event. Anyways, the pandemic over the last year has made me feel even more frightened of meeting and speaking with people. But I know, once we all reemerge, it's going to be a lot of social situations.
That said, I'm looking for any suggestions on books on social anxiety, specifically. I'm also
open to other media like podcasts. I'm hoping to find some techniques that will help me live a happier, healthier, less fearful life.
