Besides meds, what supplements (vitamins, minerals,...) do you take on a daily basis that you feel helps mitigate your anxiety? I'd like to know as I am considering adding B complex to my regimen.

I presently take vitamin C, D, zinc, and occasionally calcium. During anxious periods I will also add L-Theanine.

I take vitamin D3. And on occasion B.

I understand that valerian and passion flower relax you. It seems that there is another one but the name escapes me at the moment.

I try to sit in the sun for a little while too to get more D. Though I take the max dose I think. 5000iu.

I noticed the D does help with my moods.

Hugs, Karen...

Could one of these be the name that escaped you: Ginko Bilboa, Indian Ginseng, or St John's Wort? Problems with herbs are preparation, specific safe dosage, and knowing actual, definitive benefit.

Topo, an excellent site to look up supplements & prescription medications is Drugs.com. You can go there & type in the name & click on interactions & read about what to avoid while taking certain things. I just looked up tumeric there & found two of my prescription medications that says not to use that supplement.

Take care.

St. John's wort. I think that is it. Ginko Biloba is supposed to be for memory and Ginseng would be a stimulant. I hope you find what works for you.
