It’s good that you gave up smoking.
We just had a lady up the street about 65 or 70 who smoked and had a heart attack a couple of weeks ago.
Her husband said they cut her open from the top of her chest to the bottom. I’ve heard smoking makes the heart beat faster, and people don’t need that.
I’m also reading that marijuana really races up the heart and younger people who smoke that are having more heart attacks than those who don’t smoke marijuana.
My wife died of cancer from smoking cigarettes. They also cause emphysema, difficulty breathing. So neither cigarettes or marijuana are free of side affects.

To help me sleep, I take Melatonin tablets from the heath food store or possibly from the health section of the grocery or drug store or from the net. I also at night use a heating pad on my chest, set on low, which enlarges the blood vessels, and makes the heart work less hard. It's like a child's teddy bear.
I’ve also found that if I exercise during the day, socialize, or take a warm bath (expands the blood vessels) before I go to to bed, I sleep better that night. The warm bath also improves my thinking, my disposition probably, as the blood vessels going to the brain expand and send more nutrients and oxygen.
I read somewhere, and then realized it was true with me, also, I come up with my best ideas when I'm taking a bath.
I can't take a bath anymore, but I use a chair that fits inside the tub and spray that works about the same.
