Hey everyone, I had my 1st appt. today and she was very nice, I liked her alot. It makes me feel so much better being able to talk to someone about all this. Although Im not really sure weather I should continue getting some tests done, or just trust the docs. She said no, that from everything I was telling her, its all just anxiety, so I think Im going to keep seeing her. Im just scared that I have MS or something with the nervous system. Does anyone know how to get tested for that???

Dont give up on you therapy! You might also want to go to your GP for the MS testing, but therapy is very important in dealing with anxiety. Have faith in your Doc and yourself, and dont give up if it doesnt work immeciately. I remember getting frustrated, but then something just seemed to click and fall into place.

Good luck and hang in there!

I think you need the therapy as well and she is no doubt spot on about it all being A/P related but if you want to ease your mind then have test done
I know wht you mean most A/P peeps have health anxiety so you are not alone in this hun
Happy you liked her

If you have insurance, why not ask your doc for a test. It would be a good exercise for you and your new therapist to work with the feelings of fear, anxiety and impending doom as you await the results. So happy you liked your therapist too. That's a new beginning!
