I had anxiety and panic attacks for over 30 years. In that time I had various medications, occasional therapy and very little else in my life. The drugs helped to reduce it, while I was taking them, but they were never expected to cure it. So eventually I stopped taking them, found the problem and worked on curing myself.
I have not had any problems for 11 years now. I no longer get unduly anxious and never panicky.
Anger is an emotion that is constant in anxiety although it does work as a distraction sometimes.
So yes it is completely curable, and no anger does not help it.
