Hi angest,
I also get dizzy, nausea, ab pain and cramping, tiredness and difficulty breathing. It sounds to me like all of those things you're feeling are anxiety related. I don't know much bout Zoloft (sorry), bur maybe your doctor should know about it so s/he can change the dosage or prescribe something else? It's just a thought.

Hello Angest,
I have anxiety/panic attacks with a lot of physical symptoms.  I experience all the symptoms you mentioned, maybe some others too: heart racing, (at least thinking I have) difficulty breathing, feeling like I might pass out, shaking, confusion, blurry vision, red face, numbness in hands, cold sweat, stomach problems.  I know these are terrifying.  So your problems could definitely be anxiety/panic.  I told my doctor I thought it was weird I had so many symptoms so frequently (I'd say almost every day I have at least a few symptoms at various times of day, usually at night), but he said that's just the anxiety.  I just happen to have a LOT of physical symptoms.  I know when I first started feeling all these things, I thought I was dying, I thought I must be having a heart attack, but I saw a doctor, had an EKG, blood tests, etc, and have nothing physically wrong with me.  Maybe if you haven't had that done, you could, just to be sure?  It helps me, knowing, hey, I am fine, I am not dying, this is the anxiety right now.  I think it helps a little bit with coping.  Hope this helps!

Thanks mates for your replies.
Really I have done all of the investigations ECG , Halter monitering ,CT-scan ,US of abdomin,Gastroscopy,ENT examinations, Blood examinations.... All was negative and normal.I ve been for consultations to many specialists..every thing was normal.then the last one was a neurologist and he prescribed a zoloft for me last last feb., the medication helped me , but still I have gott bouts of anxiety at least once a week, but its not so heavy such before , but the last attack was very strong and was constant for 3-4 days that made me feeling down and thinking again that I have some thing else, but now I'm started CBT with the medication and I think its going to be helpfull ,because its helped me too much to get relax by few days...I'm feeling great now......Exercise is very helpfull and advice all to do it regularly.Just wondering if man can get off from anxiety for ever......thanks for every one....with a great hope for all our mates in the forum to get back to normal state soooooooooooon yeah

hi all, this is my first time on this site. I am usually on the Lupus site. I have had anxiety attacks for 26 yrs. Mine were so bad i wouldn't go out of the house and sometimes felt comfortable sitting in the corner of my bedroom. OK i really thought i was loney tunes. Back then they didn't know much about it. Make a long story short. I take 50 mg. Zoloft. More makes me worse. One mg. of zanex when i get up in the morning. It prevent's any anxiety attacks to start. I go in stores and everywhere by myself now. Still have problems driving far, because i had so many driving before i had it under controll and it still has a brain reminder. Hope things work out. And also they have tried me on all different kinds of medication and it made me worse. If you feel one isn't good for you keep trying till you find one that does. It is your body and you know what is good or not. Don't let the doctors make you feel bad if you airn't responding how they think you should feel. It is your life, your time and your quality of life. If you look on the internet you will find people act differently to different medications, some have to take a combo of two different ones. Good luck and Hugs
