I have it throughout my body and it drives me crazy! Its hard to explain unless you ahve had it. But it scares the mess outta me!!! sad I told my neuro this and he just looked at me! Go figure. Anyway if any of you guys has expereinced this please let me know as this is freaking me out!

Hi Dottie - I think it's reasonable to expect an answer from your neuro. They are the ones that deal with things like Parkinsons and MS. Now, don't go getting worried about that, just go back and tell her how you are feeling and ask her to take some steps in determining what it is. Does she know that you suffer with anxiety?

Yea I know what you are talking about, when I frist started having p/a I got that feeling like being cold but your not even when your calm it's still there. I losed so miny pounds from it that I was back in the size pants I had in high school at that point I was put on valium and it helped out so much but I can't really say if it's from anxiety or not though I know that it is a part of it the fine tremer in the body even today after 12 years I still have it but mine is from cns damage from the chemicals that I worked with but with the anxiety I tend to shake more harder.

I don't know what you do for work or at home but the toxins in cleaning products and so on can do that kind of damage to the cns I have it so bad now that even the smell of some chemical make me sick. I don't know if you have p/a you really didn't give that much info on yourself but you can look up multi chemical sensitivity on the net.

 I hope that helps

He is the one who thinks it is anxiety but my regular doc is ordering an MRI just to rule out any of that.

Hello ThreeboysMomWTJ

I don't know if this is the same thing your talking about but I call mine inside shakes. I get them just like the shakes I get on the outside of my body but there harder for me to get under control. I know how these can make you feel inside.

I hope your doing better soon and please keep posting so we know how you are doing.

Hello! I think I know what you are talking about. Sometimes I feel shaky inside, but you cant see on the outside that I am shaky! I think that I feel like my arms have that vibrating feeling sometimes, its a really annoying feel. Do you feel that you have the vibrating sometimes w/o really shaking?

THAT is exactly how I describe it--vibrating inside, no sign of it on the outside. I am happy to hear that others feel this. My doc took note of it but that's about it but I think this helped my anxiety diagnoses along with everything else.
It is ever so subtle but it is definitly vibrating throughout my entire body, not my head tho.
I started to get them all of a sudden once about five years ago, they lasted off and on a couple months. It is a weird thing. I believe I still get them but I only notice it when they end, most noticibly at night when all of a sudden it seems the machine I'm standing on all day has been turned off and there is a noticeable quiet--but not quite sure if this is true or not, still monitoring this.
Generally tho they were annoying and I was worried about them like crazy back then and was busy in my own mind as to how to diagnose them and stop them and even how to explain them to the doc, but for the most part they have gone and I move on.

Once I traveled 500 miles to visit family had lots of vibrating (that I associated with the drive and being tired also drinking coffee which I hadn't done in years) and I'm standing in my Aunt's bathroom and I the vibration feeling starts happening--silly me it was the dryer running and vibrating the floor and me on it eyes So the sitting on a dryer analogy for me was perfect.

I know that vibrating feeling soooo well! Sometimes I feel as if I am plugged into an electric socket. It is worse when I am sitting still - if I keep moving, I am not aware of it so much. I find the vibration of the car engine masks the feeling too.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.  THANK YOU FOR THIS POSTING.  I HAVE COMPLAINED TO MY DOCTOR FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS THAT I FEEL LIKE MY BODY IS VIBRATING.  HE RAN A LOT OF BLOOD TESTS AND FOUND NOTHING.  HE SAID THAT HE HAS NEVER HEARD OF ANYONE DESCRIBING  THIS FEELING.  I REALLY NOTICE IT AT NIGHT.  I HAVE NEVER BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH ANXIETY, DO YOU FEEL THIS IS LINKED TO IT.  HOW DID YOU MAKE OUT WITH YOUR DOCTOR?  DO YOU HAVE INSIGHT FOR ME?   THANK YOU, NOW I KNOW THAT THEIR ARE OTHERS WITH THIS SYMPTOM.

Inside shaking is what I call it too. Fortunately it has disappeared now. It occurs when I am at a Panic attack mode(also not often). I kept trying to explain it to my husband too. It is like being chilled but you are not cold and you feel it in the core of your being. It is very unpleasant.

Sounds very familiar.  I can get this out of the blue and it's sooo hard to explain to anyone.  I think I will use that washing machine analogy from now on!!! Great one.  I find that focusing on something else, or even humming in and out along with it really helps.  I try and out-hum it!!  Bubbas, huge welcome!!! Glad you found us and can relate. Keep posting!

Bubba, first off welcome to the sight as this one is great! Everyone is so kind and caring! Now for the vibrating ,I told the neuro about it and he just looked at me like I was crazy! eyes Since then I Have did some research and found that it is from the nerves in the body being on high alert. I feel mine when still as well ...I think maybe its because when we are moving we have our minds on other things.Anyway try not to let it get the best of you as it did me for awhile..Drove me crazy actually!! Just one of the great things about anxiety I guess! yeah yeah

I also suffer from the internal shakes (a.k.a. jittery on the inside, vibrating on the inside, etc.). I am in the process of trying to determine the cause. The knowns so far are that it does not appear to be related to blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia), it may be linked to an autoimmune disorder because my thyroid antibodies are high, I do not believe it is related to anxiety (expect possibly because the health care people look at you a little crazy when you describe it), and it's like having an extreme sensitivity on the inside of your body which my holistic doctor seems to believe.

I am in the process of having a number of tests done and will keep you posted. I am having the aterial screening to determine whether there are any obstructed arteries because that may have an affect. I also will be doing a stress test and a full immune panel (blood tests) to see what they have to say. I have gathered from my various reading, my reiki massage person & my holistic doctor, that it may be linked to candidiasis (overgrowth of yeast), infections in the body, inflamation, and one or more of the autoimune disorders.

It is very interesting to read. I just had the internal shakes this AM after drinking a super healthy breakfast shake (spinich, kiwi, & blueberries) so I am going to start a log to see if I can track a pattern. I also started taking olive leaf this AM per my holistic doctor and plan to consult with her regarding parsley, aloe vera, and a few other things.
This is a journey and I am not sure were God is taking me on it but I have to believe that some sort of good will come out of it in the long run.

** If on Medications please check with your doc regarding mixing Herbal remedies and medications**

As well we are all different so please do watch how you put something in a post alot of anxiety ppl have Health Anxiety and this would scare them more IMHO**

Wecome to HW and if you have questions as to why your post was edited please do email me an I can go into it further with you

Thanks for your understanding ..........LYN

Okay...thank goodness I found this site...cause I thought I was going crazy! I am getting the same feelings like I am cold and shivering inside but I am not cold and it happens when I actually am laying down relaxing!!! My neuro also told me that he has never heard of that and gave me a funny look! I dont know what to do to make this stop!

For me it feels like my brain is vibrating. Usually happens during the night when I get half awake and confused.

I told my dr and he thinks its apart of the anxiety but its hard for me to believe sometimes because I can feel fine otherwise and there the vibrating comes! confused but I am stiill here and alive but trust me its not easy I guess I just have to tell myself its nothing major and hope and pray one day it will go away!

This is something I've recently started getting!  I tell my kids that its my "spider senses tingling!"  Very weird feeling!  I've been taking .25mgs of clonazapam and it helps.  Still trying to get my anxiety under control, but not sure if the meds prescribed are working.

In the mean time I guess I will keep zinging away!

Sweet eyes
