First off I want to say that I always look forward to the holidays with TOTAL anxiety. This was the time of year that my 'x' announced that we were through and so many other things. Alot of pressure to" perform "as expected(ie. always happy) cooking, parties, etc., you all know what I mean. It has turned into a total of 2 months of faking it.
So, one Sunday I was at Church and a pregnant lady fell next to me. I reacted normally and reached for her. Later that day I had a horrible pain in my back that sent me to tears and screams of pain. I thought I was having a heartattack.. I was told that women have different symptoms than men. Off to outpatients we went.
I was consolled and told that I had pulled a muscle and given some relaxants and antinflamitories(sp). They knocked me out for a while and did remove the pain. However, had I not been so stressed and tense all over, it would not had happen so badly.
Does anyone else have a sensitivity to pain like this. If you do, I so 'feel' for you. It is real and no one should dismiss it!
