Anyone else going through a spell now of having a bad cold (chest cold, nasal congestion, etc.), and anxiety all at once?
I was doing ok for a while with my deep breathing techniques, but with my sudden onset of a bad cold, I can't breathe through my nose to calm down, and if I breathe through my mouth, my chest flutters (tickles) and I cough.
Any suggestions for what to do?
The worst is at night when I try to lie down to sleep and I can't breathe...which quicky signals a panic attack.  Im barely getting any sleep lately because of the scenario.
Any ideas for how to open the sinus', or quickly get rid of the chest cold would be greatly appreciated...!

`SUDAFED OR SIMILAR WOULD BE ok  to open the nostrils

for mouth breathing, try breathing thru a damp cloth or get the bathroom steamed up and do it there

Hello Zenyoga4u
Try rubbing on some vicks vaper rub on and in your nose. It don't take a lot but that always works for me. Hope your feeling better soon.
