I need to vent a bit and I know I'm safe here. I don't know what is going on with me. I can't seem to fight my way out of this one. I just want to sit here and do nothing, go nowhere and talk to no one. What is wrong with me? My mother says I need to force myself to get out and do something. I have an appointment with a bankruptcy lawyer today, which is in and of itself causing anxiety, but I have a job interview about 45 minutes away from my house and I just don't think that I can travel that far all the time. Especially when I start back to school in the spring. So, I'm just not going to go. I feel very tired and run down. What's the saying? "I've been ridden hard and put up wet?" Well there I am. Thanks for listening.

You do have to make yourself get up and out Chelle...I know how hard it is, sigh..........
As to the job, perhaps you'll be able to find one closer. If not, you'll soon have school to keep you busy! smile
Hang in there!

seechell,

I've gone through this too, and it truly is awful to feel that way!  I agree with the others who have already posted, you should get up and get moving.  Take a hot bath, read, get your mind engaged somehow and your body will follow.  The worst thing you can do is lie around and wallow in it.  You're going to get through this rough spot, just hang in there and try to get busy with something!  Hope you feel better soon!!!!!

I know the stress of filing a bankruptcy, I did it a couple of years ago due to 14 months of being unemployed. It sucks. But life does go on and things will improve eventually. Try doing yoga to get yourself moving. I have a couple of dvd's I use at home. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Thanks to you all!

Sometimes I just need a good hard kick in the a**. I found out that we may be getting a refund for our COBRA insurance we paid for last month and for some percriptions. That will be close to $850 or $900. That may keep us out of bankruptcy for a minute and we will also have our tax return. I haven't had the energy to do them yet. It takes a certain mind set before I can dive into math of any sort. Hopefully, based on last year, we should get $2000 back. Then my student loans will come in for spring semester and I can use the remainder of those loans for bills also. Am I seeing a light at the end of the tunnel? I hope so and I hope it's not a train!

Keep hanging in there Seechell. I know exactly what you are feeling. I'm just taking it day by day...sad thing is, I've been doing that for months now. I do have to make myself get up and move or I would just sit and stare at the tv all day. That was the main reason I got a part time job, I HAD to get up and focus. Alot of days I wish I had not of done it, but I know it was the best thing for me.
I hope you are feeling better soon!

To borrow Lyn's words "Fight the Fight" (boy I love that!). You can yget through this too. Boy, we must ALL be really strong willed to pick ourselves up time and time again LOL! I find myself getting discouraged quite easily the past several months... but once I can push myself to get moving, the blood gets pumping and its easier to keep moving and doing things.

Let us know whenever you need another kick! Take care,
Karen
