Anyone got good results from healthy life style?

Has anyone noticed if eating regularly only good stuff, lots of vitamins, alcohol drug cigarette free lifestyle, and lots of exercise, good sleep, helped chase anxiety off? Can it replace medication?

Before my attacks got so bad I could barely move around, exercise did help a lot. Getting enough sleep also helped. I never quit smoking because in the interim I knew it would only make me more nervous. I quit drinking after college pretty much.

All that stuff you mentioned can only help. With some people it may be enough to take care of the problem.

  I been living that way for a long time now, I grow my own veggies and hunt moose, caraboo and bears as well as fish for salmon and pick berry's for are winter food, very little is bought from the stores. I don't know if it has truly help anyone but it can't hurt to to eat that way but it has not helped with my anxiety at all and even with all the fish I eat (even with the fish oil's in them has not helped me) The only thing that has really helped me is the SSRI's as I have been panic feel for 3 month's now. Exercise dose help but some find it to be to much for them, the feeling of there heart beating is like a stoping point or the start of a panic attack but I feel that learning CBT is the only true way to go and live anxiety free but one needs to put the time into it to learn as I really don't feel that there is any other way to get past it.

I like Freezing eat healty( lots of fish as well but not moose lol..not yet) do alot of walking and exercising ......have time out for self even though I look after Dad with Alzheimers BUT I too feel that sometimes meds are needed to go along with the healthy lifestyle
I also do CBT relaxation techniques and meditation as well as listen to music .......

Be well and it never hurts to eat healthy anyways ..........
