OK somebody make me feel like I'm not nuts

Hey Everyone,
I struggle with a/p in waves... I'll go a month without feeling that almost painful edgyness that causes me to become convinced that I'm dying from some terminal illness - the anxiety is still there - i don't think i ever go through a full day without racing thoughts and some type of irrational fear, but I'm hoping that some of you understand what I mean when I say that I'm anxious without the pain of panic.  Right now however, I am into my third day of all consuming anxiety/panic and it's most likely because I don't feel good. Not sick just achy, tired, dizzy, it varies.  I can't ever tell if I don't feel good because I'm anxious or if I'm anxious because I don't feel good. I can be perfectly fine and then I'll be out on lunch break driving around with the windows down blasting some music and singing at the top of my lungs and the next thing I know I get this feeling that maybe I'm a little dizzy or my heart just skipped or something and that will send me into a period of anxiety (this is actually exactly what happened on Tuesday).  Please tell me that someone can relate - i really want someone to talk to about my feelings that knows and has been there. I have a really good friend who struggles with a/p, but she literally told me that she can't handle talking to me about it because whenever I mention that I'm anxious she automatically becomes anxious... sooooo  I don't say much about it anymore.  I am afraid of sounding nuts to my friends and family who have no idea what I'm feeling.

classic classic classic symptoms.

You're not experiencing anything that hasn't been experienced by most of us here. Sounds VERY similar to my struggles - although I'm much improved!

Dealing with panic and anxiety for 8 years off and on...right now more on than off.  Major health anxiety as well!
New found issues with agoraphobia...working on that too.
I am NOT weak, I am just down right now.  I am doing what it takes to get my life back!!!

you should learn CBT so you accept the anxiety and relax your way thru it rather than struggling with it

many anxiety sufferers are oversensetive to sound and light, earplugs and sunglasses help

hypochondria is also common for anxiety sufferers

some become panicky when trying to read anxiety self help books.....

recovered former longtime anxiety and panic attack sufferer and helper of other sufferers  but no training or  qualifications in medicine or psychology, any remarks that may be taken as advice must be confirmed with doctor or other health professional
emails are welcome but do mention healingwell to avoid risk of deletion as spam

BTW I prefer to call it HEALTH ANXIETY not hypochondria
