I'm a 38 year I have been told by doctors that I suffer from anxienty attacks but somehow I don't want to believe that.Over the years I have taken blood test the most recent was 4-5 years ago simply everything that a blood test can do and they said I was fine. Two weeks after that after taken that test with a ekg I took a ekg and after it was fine then the doctor really didn't say much words but go see a shrink lol. A couple of years pass it appeared that I had this thing beat but funny this pass November it came back and again they took me to the doctor this time in another state and after I got worked up blood pressure was 160/?  seeing the RN AND E.MT looking at me telling me I will be fine then taking a ekg and yet again thumbs up everything was great. Hell before the doctor came in the room my panic had completly STOP and last month I called the E.M.T and before they got there I calmed down and my blood pressure was 126/80. Over a ten year period this is what I have been doing funny I also was worried about tingle feelings in my head many years ago the doctor took a x-ray and said it was healing lol I can't remember whatelse he said.

You have any advice for me because I'm driving me wife NUTTS.

Funny I worry about my mom and dad and they are doing GREAT and I have heard abou this tingle and shakey feeling in the head wow people can really get that.

What you describe here sounds like anxiety to me.  Alot of us here have health anxiety and are constantly worried about what is physically wrong with us, making several trips to doctors or ER, because our symptoms scare us into thinking we have a deadly disease or are dying of a heart attack or stroke...all a part of anxiety/panic.  Are you on medication for a/p, seeing a therapist, learning cognitive behavior therapy?  These things are a great help in dealing with how you are feeling.  I would suggest finding a therapist who specializes in a/p and learning as much as you can about this disorder.  I went through a period of time that I didn't believe what I had was a/p either, but once I did accept it and started using cbt and meds, I began to make progress to move through it.  I wish you the best!

Dear Cory,

I am sorry that you are having these problems and many of the symptoms you describe are the same as people with anxiety have.

Your Health Anxiety may be kicking you into these panic attacks.

Are you currently on any medications and do you have a therapist? Health Anxiety can be treated.

Do you live alone? Is there anyone you can call to come and be with you before you call 911?  Sometimes having someone help calm you down will do wonders. It apprears that has happened on some of your trips to the ER. I believe you said after talking to the nurse all your symptoms went away before you even saw the physician.

Also, does your clinic or hospital have a nurse call line for after hours? You actually can talk to a nurse and get advice. :)

Keep posting and know your among friends here at Healing Well.

Yes it stop even before I saw the doctor after the EKG and talking to the nurse I was fine. I have this feeling of going to the doctor for another ekg after getting grear results over a ten year period (11/16/2006) after a blood pressure check last month of 126/80 And this is the weirdest thing I feel this way everytime I'm in my inlaws house and if I worry about what my wife say bad or good

You want advice? Go to the psychiatrist and work something out with him or her. They'll be able to help you.
