i have ended the past two days in better spirits but it seems like when i fall asleep i wake up having negative thoughts like i am getting worse and the what ifs ALWAYS come rushing back. it takes me almost all day to get my bearing back. i sweat, i tingle in my hands and feet and around my mouth , i get super hot all over and sick at my stomach to where i always end up in the bathroom. i know that the physical symptoms are just panic attacks but i seem to lose my will during sleep. yesterday i had just come to the conclusion the heck with it bring it on and i actually got to feeling better but through the night the reallity hit or the what if's as i call them it did come what then. IT WOULD BE BAD i know and i fear it. any thoughts? does any one else do this?

Those "what ifs" should be banned.  If you wake up in the middle of the night as I used to I know you feel like there is not another person in the world thinking of you.  The crazy thinking starts and off you go in the circle of "what ifs"

Can you picture a big red stop sign and concentrate on that.  STOP the circle, get off the merry-go-round and let go of the thoughts.  You will deal with the "what ifs" when they happen and you know they may never happen.

Practice breaking out of the circle.

Many hugs to you.
