o.k i give up on my doctor

i finally got him on the phone and what he said made no sense, i was taking zyprexa and it made me hungry all the time and i was concerned about it causing diabetes too,  but he said its  because i'm slightly overweight i need to worry about, well if i stay on this med than i'll gain more weight right, and than he says something about bipolar disorder that i have it, and then i asked you said i have have gad,  i ',m like what the, well i went in there first because i had a a bad fall with a long time friend, and i was stressed out, i have all always been a together person, layed back, i did suffer a lot of stress after hurricane rita hit us, but i don't have bi polar, i'm going to get another doctor, but i'm scared what i might get next.

I am sorry this physician did not work out for you. Is there somewhere you can get a referral to find a new physician.

Sometimes change is the best thing.

i'm going to ask around, its amazing how a doctor that spends like 2 seconds on your dx literally and can say they know whats wrong instead he gave me meds and said come back in 6 months, no check up on taking zyprexa , knowing i'm predeposed to possibly become diabetic with my family history, thanks for being there for me, hopefully i'll find a good doctor
