i have had a quick read around but couldn't find anything that matched exactly, so i thought i would go ahead and post, so here we go.
I have Panic disorder and started taking prozac 4 weeks ago, although it's not started working yet. The thing is i get terribly achey shoulders and neck which i know is related to anxiety and depression, but i also get terrible stomach pain in my upper abdom. Could this be stress? When i actually have panic attacks i get severe nausia as my main symptom - i had all the stomach tests done and they found nothing, but i am still getting these crazy tummy upset feelings, even when i'm not panicy. Could it still be stress related? I'm freaking out worrying that its IBS or somthing and it won't go away when the prozac kicks in, i don't get dioreah or constipation or anything, and i really am very stressed at the moment and depressed.
can anyone relate to this? will it go away when the prozac kicks in?

Hello and I am sorry you are still having problems with the med.  If youhave been taking it 4 weeks and you are still in so much pain you need a physician to diagnosis and make decisions re your meds.

Lots of support and I wish you peace. Take care.

Hey Box-
when you say "stomach tests" what did they test you for? I have stomach/ab/back pains here and there even when I dont think I'm stressed or having anxiety.. thats what troubles me the most. It could be stress, IBS is painful I would think, you should go to and do the "symptom checker" I've dealt w/bad docs, you may need to try and diagnose yourself if you feel the dr. isn't right? idk
