Hey Machelle...I use to drink A LOT, and when I say A LOT, I mean A LOT of pepsi. It is the only thing I drank. When my anxiety got really bad in March, I quit smoking, and cut out the caffeine like all together, and it helped. I now do drink pepsi, but it is caffeine free, although I have heard talk about
there still being some caffine in there, whatever, different topic, but the point is, I STRONGLY believe caffeine does make anxiety worse. Here is a story...
Back in 1998, that is when my panic 1st started EVER. I was at my parents house having a panic attack. At that time, I had NO IDEA what was going on with me, my panic attacks were not diagnosed yet. Mom called 911, as many may know the feeling, at the age of 18, I thought I was having a heart attack. Paramedics came, and asked me if the mountain dew that was on table was mine...I said yes. He started to go into saying how Mountain Dew has the highest caffeine amount in it, and could've been contributing to how I was feeling...as he was already sure I was NOT having a heart attack.
I know you didn't ask for all that, but I figured I'd give you that full blown answer.
madelineHX...welcome to healingwell, but, I am so sorry, I am not sure I understand your question...I apologize.
Best Wishes to all.
