Hi everyone
I just need to vent a bit. My anxiety is in full force. I am once again battling SEVERE health anxiety, and that awful feeling of impending doom. I have a morbid fear of having lupus, even though my doc (internal medicine) and a rheumatologist have both confirmed its fibromyalgia. My doc is wonderful, and tolerates my badgering But I cant get rid of this feeling no matter what I do. It once again has consumed me.
Then of course my GAD is in full swing also and I walk around feeling like something terrible is going to happen. I want to be happy, but even that frightens me...I know it makes no sense.
I take ativan as needed. I am hoping to get to see a psychiatrist when my hubbys benefits start up in february. But that seems an eternity away right now. just sucks...I get so mad at myself for second guessing the docs, but I cant stop. sad I guess I better stop crying now and pull myself together....
Thanks for letting me vent

It sounds like you need a good vent, please vent at will! I know how it feels to badger doctors...they don't live in your body so how could THEY know!! lol!! It seems like a long way to february and anxiety filled days can be long but remember all the lovely people on this forum will be here to support you until then and beyond.

P.S. I hear crying is good for the as much as you need.

I alone can do this, but I cannot do it alone.

Hi Shelley

I know exactly how you feel, this worrying re-health anxiety has taken over my life and now  feel if i don't get some teatment i will really make myself ill.

If i ask the doctor for anxiety medication they are reluctant to give anything so i may join a support group locally to see if thay can help. I understand how you feel. Are you in the Uk.
